Renn Fayre is the greatest party ever, right? Yes it is, unless you're the phys plant worker who has to work overtime to clean up the campus in time for graduation. Back Olde Reede, the school spent all kinds of money (in addition to the amount spent on Renn Fayre itself) cleaning up the campus. It's pretty absurd, if you think about it, that we run around throwing trash on the ground all weekend and then make someone else clean it up. Thus was born the novel idea that, hey, what if we cleaned up after ourselves? Cleaning up the campus so as to not create more work for phys plant is the honor principle in action. The weekend shifts allow for damage control so that the mess doesn't get too out of hand, the Monday shifts are when the serious cleaning goes down.

SHIFTS:

Friday afternoon

A very brief blitzkrieg of cleaning at 5pm on Friday, to get all the broken glass up so no one's feeties get cut.

Saturday afternoon (after bug-eating contest)

We'll go around with Phys Plant in the big truck and change trash bags. This keeps the trash from building up and overflowing and becoming horrible. This shouldn't take more than twenty minutes.

Sunday afternoon

How much do you really do on Sunday afternoon? That's what I thought. If you want to be superhardcore, you'll sign up and do a trashwalk around campus from 2-3 pm on Sunday.

Monday

The main push for cleaning up campus.
